Atlas Ocean Voyages is celebrating the fifth anniversary of World Navigator, the expedition yacht that launched the luxury expedition brand in August 2021.
Since her inaugural voyage, Atlas has grown into a three-ship fleet with World Navigator, World Traveller and World Voyager, while building a global program spanning Antarctica, the Arctic, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, South America, the Caribbean, Greenland, Iceland and the Canadian Arctic.
Five years of expedition growth
Atlas Ocean Voyages says its repeat guest rate is now approaching 30 per cent, reflecting the growth of the brand since its launch.
The company is also preparing for its next phase of expansion with Atlas Adventurer, due to debut in late 2028 as what the cruise line describes as the world’s first luxury expedition sailing yacht. The new vessel will introduce Atlas to destinations in Asia and Africa.
Atlas Ocean Voyages President and Chief Executive Officer James A. Rodriguez said World Navigator remained central to the company’s story.
“Five years ago, World Navigator embarked on a remarkable journey that would shape the future of Atlas Ocean Voyages,” Rodriguez said.
“As Atlas Ocean Voyages celebrates this important milestone, World Navigator remains at the heart of the company’s story – a yacht that launched a vision, inspired a community and continues to carry guests to the world’s most extraordinary places.”
Antarctica savings mark anniversary
To coincide with the anniversary, Cruise Traveller, Atlas Ocean Voyages’ exclusive representative in Australia, is offering savings of US$8,720 per couple on a November 2026 Antarctica voyage aboard World Navigator.
The 12-night package begins on 16 November 2026 and includes an overnight stay in Buenos Aires, private charter flights between Buenos Aires and Ushuaia and an 11-night expedition cruise to Antarctica.
Guests will be accompanied by an expedition team including naturalists, marine biologists and kayak guides, with Zodiac excursions, shore landings and the opportunity to take a polar plunge.
Fares start from US$9,199 per person, twin share, in an Oceanview Suite, including onboard beverages, gratuities and Zodiac and land excursions. The fare represents a saving of US$4,360 per person for bookings made by 30 September 2026.
