Atlas Ocean Voyages has reported a 49 per cent increase in year-to-date sales across all future voyages compared with the same period last year, highlighting growing demand for luxury expedition cruising.
The strong performance comes as excitement builds for Atlas Adventurer, the line’s new luxury expedition sailing yacht scheduled to debut in 2028.
New yacht drives booking momentum

Atlas Ocean Voyages said interest in Atlas Adventurer has exceeded expectations, helping to introduce a broader audience to the brand while driving bookings across its wider fleet.
The vessel’s launch has generated particularly strong interest in the company’s new Africa and Asia itineraries, with early demand exceeding forecasts following the opening of reservations.
Kristian C. Anderson, Executive Vice President of Global Sales for Atlas Ocean Voyages, said the response had created significant momentum.
“The response has created meaningful awareness for our brand and generated a halo effect across our entire fleet, contributing to strong booking activity well beyond a single vessel,” Anderson said.
Growing appetite for expedition cruising
Atlas Ocean Voyages continues to operate voyages across Antarctica, the Arctic, Northern Europe and other remote destinations, combining immersive exploration with yacht-style luxury.
The line’s ‘Always Included by Atlas™’ proposition, which includes beverages, gratuities, specialty coffees and teas, and other onboard amenities, continues to resonate with travellers seeking value within the luxury sector.
Strong interest from Australian travellers
Atlas Ocean Voyages is represented exclusively in Australia by Cruise Traveller, which has also reported strong local interest in the new vessel.
Cruise Traveller Managing Director Joe O’Sullivan said Atlas Adventurer represents an exciting evolution for the brand.
“The debut of Atlas’ first sailing yacht represents an exciting new chapter for the brand and appeals strongly to Australians seeking immersive exploration paired with refined elegance and grace,” O’Sullivan said.
He added that travellers are increasingly drawn to experiences that combine authentic exploration, personalised service and small-ship luxury.
With Atlas Adventurer joining the fleet in 2028, the company expects continued growth as demand for expedition and adventure travel remains strong globally.
