Aurora Expeditions has strengthened its commitment to the travel trade with the launch of Aurora Advisor Advantage, a comprehensive program designed to make selling the expedition cruise line’s voyages easier and more rewarding.
Developed following feedback from travel advisors, the new initiative introduces enhanced commission structures, exclusive advisor rates, upgraded sales tools and additional client benefits.
Earlier commissions and exclusive advisor rates
One of the key enhancements sees eligible travel advisors receive gross commission payments 60 days before their clients depart, improving cash flow and recognising advisor efforts earlier in the booking journey.
Aurora Expeditions has also introduced Aurora Insider Rates, allowing eligible advisors, along with friends and family, to experience a voyage from US$300 per person, per day on selected departures booked within 120 days of sailing, subject to availability and conditions.
David Tanguay, Head of Global Sales at Aurora Expeditions, said the program reflected the company’s commitment to supporting its trade partners.

Greater flexibility and value for clients
From the 2026–27 Antarctica season, premium beverages, including premium spirits, cocktails, beer, wine and liqueurs, will be included in voyage fares across the fleet at no extra cost.
Aurora Expeditions has also introduced a no-charge flexible voyage transfer policy, allowing guests who are unable to travel after paying their deposit to transfer to another eligible Aurora voyage departing within 36 months of their original departure date, subject to applicable conditions.
New digital tools for advisors
The enhanced Travel Advisor Hub now includes a Dates & Rates Tool, enabling advisors to access live pricing across all cabin categories, view optional activity availability and search voyages by departure date, destination, duration, ship or price.
Aurora Expeditions also confirmed it is developing a new online booking portal that will allow advisors to make bookings online, with further details to be announced.
Tanguay said Aurora Advisor Advantage was designed as an ongoing initiative that would continue to evolve in response to advisor needs.
