Carnival Cruise Line has opened applications for its 2026 Family Famil, giving travel advisors the chance to experience a Carnival cruise holiday alongside family or friends.
Family-focused famil returns for 2026

The popular trade initiative will see nine selected agents sail aboard Carnival Encounter on an eight-night South Pacific voyage departing Brisbane on 18 July 2026.
The cruise will also feature Carnival’s themed “Grinchmas in July” entertainment and activities.
Agents can bring their chosen family
Recognising that families come in many forms, Carnival is allowing agents to bring along a partner, children, best friend or chosen family member as part of the experience.
Participants can select either twin-share or quad-share accommodation to suit their travel group.
Carnival focuses on experience over sales
Carnival Cruise Line National Sales Manager Mark Richards said the famil was designed to help agents personally experience the onboard atmosphere and family appeal of the brand.
“Carnival’s Family Famil is one of our most loved trade initiatives because it gives agents the opportunity to experience exactly what makes a Carnival holiday so special,” Richards said.
“We know our agents are incredibly passionate about selling family holidays, and this initiative allows them to share the Carnival experience with the people they care about most.”
Passion over performance
Unlike traditional trade incentives focused solely on booking numbers, Carnival said the selection process will prioritise advisors who genuinely embody the Carnival brand and passion for family cruising.
Applications are now open to Australian and New Zealand travel advisors via Carnival’s GoCCL trade platform.
The initiative continues Carnival’s strong focus on the family cruise market, where the brand remains a major player across Australia and New Zealand.
