Celestyal has unveiled two new repositioning cruises for its 2026 program, with sailings from Athens to Jeddah marking the transition of its fleet into the Arabian Gulf for the northern winter season.
The first sailing will see Celestyal Journey depart Athens on 14 November 2026 for a seven-night voyage, calling at Port Said and Safaga in Egypt, transiting the Suez Canal, and visiting Aqaba in Jordan before arriving in Jeddah. Fares start from A$1,109 per person twin share.
A second repositioning voyage will follow on 20 November 2026, with Celestyal Discovery operating an eight-night itinerary. In addition to Port Said, Safaga, Aqaba and Jeddah, the sailing will also call at Kusadasi in Turkey. A seven-night segment will be available from Kusadasi, with fares starting from A$1,269 per person twin share.
Following their arrival in Saudi Arabia, both ships will continue on to the Arabian Gulf to commence their winter deployment.
Arabian Gulf season details
From December 2026 through to March 2027, Celestyal Journey will operate a refreshed seven-night ‘Desert Days’ itinerary, sailing roundtrip from Doha and calling at Dubai (overnight), Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas Island and Bahrain.
Celestyal Discovery will also operate through to March 2027, offering the line’s three-, four- and seven-night ‘Iconic Arabia’ cruises roundtrip from Abu Dhabi, with ports including Doha, Khasab, Dubai, Sir Bani Yas Island and Ras Al Khaimah.
As a result of the updated deployment, the three-night ‘Iconic Greek Islands’ sailing scheduled to depart on 20 November 2026 will be cancelled. Celestyal confirmed that affected travel partners have been notified, with commissions protected and rebooking options provided.
