Celestyal has wrapped its most successful Mediterranean and Adriatic season to date, reporting a four per cent increase in passenger numbers and a ten per cent rise in revenue compared with 2024. The line operated an extensive April–November program across Greece, Italy and Croatia, strengthening its position in the Eastern Mediterranean ahead of its expansion into the Arabian Gulf for the northern winter.
The 1,260-guest Celestyal Journey delivered ten ‘Heavenly Greece, Italy and Croatia’ departures and 22 ‘Idyllic Greece’ voyages, each featuring seven ports in seven nights. Sister ship Celestyal Discovery operated 69 sailings of the popular three- and four-night ‘Iconic Greek Islands’ itinerary.
Sustainability milestone achieved in Greek waters
The season marked a significant environmental milestone, with Celestyal Discovery becoming the first cruise vessel in Greek waters to operate on a locally produced marine biofuel blend. The fuel reduced CO₂ emissions by approximately 21 per cent, reinforcing the line’s commitment to more sustainable operations.
Celestyal’s chief commercial officer, Lee Haslett, said growing demand and fleet enhancements contributed to the line’s strongest Mediterranean performance to date, with both ships now repositioning to the Arabian Gulf.
Arabian Gulf season launches in December
Celestyal Journey will open the winter season on 6 December 2025 with a special Abu Dhabi Grand Prix celebratory cruise before transitioning to a seven-night ‘Desert Days’ itinerary roundtrip from Doha. Calls include Sir Bani Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and two full days plus an overnight stay in Dubai.
Celestyal Discovery will follow on 12 December, commencing her inaugural Gulf program from Abu Dhabi. The ship will operate three-, four- and seven-night ‘Iconic Arabia’ cruises visiting Doha, Khasab, Dubai, Sir Bani Yas Island and — for the first time — Ras Al Khaimah.
Limited-time Black Friday savings for 2026 cruises
Celestyal’s Black Friday promotion is offering savings of up to 70 per cent across its 2026 Adriatic and Arabian Gulf sailings. The offer runs from 26 November to 2 December 2025 and includes meals, soft drinks, Wi-Fi, port fees and gratuities in all fares.
