Coral Expeditions EOFY sale with savings of up to 30 per cent

Coral Expeditions is encouraging Australians to discover more of their own backyard, launching an End of Financial Year sale offering savings of up to 30 per cent across a range of expedition cruises around Australia and neighbouring regions.

Available until 30 June 2026, the promotion applies to selected departures between October 2026 and April 2027, with discounted fares available across a range of itineraries and cabin categories, including the line’s sought-after Explorer Deck Balcony staterooms.

Solo travellers can also take advantage of savings of 20 per cent on selected voyages.

Home-grown adventures headline campaign

The sale includes a selection of Coral Expeditions’ signature Australian coastal voyages, with discounted departures available across the Great Barrier Reef, Tasmania and Western Australia.

Among the featured offers is the four-night Coastal Adventures: The Great Barrier Reef expedition, with fares from $3,843 per person, including savings of 30 per cent and a Stay & Cruise package featuring one night’s accommodation before departure.

Also included is the four-night Coastal Adventures: Short Escapes in Tasmania itinerary, now available from $4,375 per person on selected departures in January 2027.

Western Australia and Papua New Guinea voyages discounted

Travellers seeking longer expedition experiences can access reduced fares on the 12-night Abrolhos Islands & The Coral Coast voyage, with Explorer Deck fares now starting from $15,393 per person, a saving of 30 per cent.

The itinerary explores remote sections of Western Australia’s coastline between Broome and Fremantle, combining island wildlife encounters, reef systems and rugged coastal landscapes.

The sale also extends to the 12-night Papua New Guinea Discoverer voyage departing in October 2026, with fares from $12,110 per person, including a charter flight.

Demand grows for domestic expedition cruising

Coral Expeditions Chief Commercial Officer Jeff Gillies said the campaign reflects growing interest in immersive small-ship exploration closer to home.

“The end of the financial year is an ideal time for travellers to plan ahead and lock in wish-list journeys along our home shores,” Gillies said.

“Australia’s coastal shores offer a lifetime of discovery, often closer than we think. We’re opening the door wider this year with more local deployment making it easier for more Australians to discover and experience the richness of expedition travel at home.”

Gillies said the company’s focus remains on delivering meaningful exploration experiences in remote destinations through its purpose-built fleet of small expedition ships.
