Free flights to Japan

The offer applies to an eight-night roundtrip cruise departing Kobe on 19 September 2026 aboard the 458-guest Mitsui Ocean Fuji, formerly Seabourn Odyssey.
Guests booking through Cruise Traveller will receive complimentary return flights to Osaka, making it easier to experience Japan during the country’s colourful autumn foliage season.
Explore southern Japan in autumn

The itinerary circles the southern island of Kyushu, calling at Fukuoka, Ibusuki, Tanegashima and Yatsushiro, before visiting Busan in South Korea.
Highlights include Japan’s renowned food culture, ancient temples, volcanic landscapes, hot springs, white-sand beaches and historic castles, all delivered with Mitsui Ocean Cruises’ signature Japanese hospitality, or “omotenashi”.
Cruise Traveller Managing Director Joe O’Sullivan said sailing with Japan’s own luxury cruise line offers a more authentic way to discover the destination.
“Nobody knows Japan like the country’s own Mitsui Ocean Cruises, which offers a completely bespoke way of discovering the country’s ancient and modern wonders on unique journeys imbued with depth, discovery, enrichment and also value-for-money,” he said.

Fares start from A$7,880 per person twin share in a Veranda Suite with private balcony.
The all-inclusive fare includes shore excursions, authentic Japanese cuisine, selected beverages, gratuities and Wi-Fi, in addition to the complimentary return flights for bookings made before 31 July 2026.
