Disney Adventure arrives in Singapore as Disney Cruise Line’s first Asia homeport

Disney Cruise Line has marked a major milestone in its global expansion with the arrival of the Disney Adventure in Singapore, the brand’s first ship to homeport in Asia.

The ship made its debut at Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore with a celebratory water salute and fireworks display, welcoming the vessel to its new base and signalling a new era of Disney cruise holidays in the region.

Maiden voyage to sail from Singapore

The Disney Adventure will depart on its maiden voyage from Singapore on 10 March 2026, offering three- and four-night sailings at sea designed for families and travellers of all ages.

Drawing on more than a century of storytelling from Disney, Pixar and Marvel, the ship features immersive entertainment, themed dining experiences and family-friendly accommodations.

“The arrival of the Disney Adventure in Singapore marks a significant milestone in our global expansion, introducing Disney cruising to Asia for the very first time,” said Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Experiences.

Singapore strengthens its position as a cruise hub

The ship will homeport in Singapore for five years, reinforcing the city’s status as one of Asia Pacific’s leading cruise hubs.

Singapore’s cruise industry recorded more than two million passenger movements in 2025 across 375 ship calls, supported by extensive international air connections and modern cruise infrastructure including the expanded Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore.

Melissa Ow, Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board, said the partnership highlights Singapore’s appeal as a premier cruise destination.

“Disney Cruise Line’s decision to homeport their newest ship in Singapore is a testament to our appeal as a premier cruise destination,” Ow said.

Seven themed zones and new onboard experiences

The Disney Adventure will feature seven themed areas designed to immerse guests in Disney storytelling across multiple days at sea.

Dining options will include both international and regional Asian cuisine, alongside specialty drinks such as bubble tea.

Guests will also find nearly 17,000 square feet of retail space offering exclusive merchandise and themed shopping experiences. New retail concepts for the Disney Cruise Line fleet include the World of Disney store, the National Geographic Store and the Duffy and Friends Shop.

Entertainment highlights include an original musical production titled Remember, created specifically for the Disney Adventure, along with the stage show Duffy and the Friend Ship.

The ship will also feature new attractions, including the Ironcycle Test Run, billed as the longest rollercoaster at sea.

Part of a major Disney Cruise Line expansion

The Disney Adventure launch forms part of a wider growth phase for Disney Cruise Line as the brand expands its fleet. The company plans to grow to 13 ships by 2031 following recent additions including the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny.
