Australians dreaming of a Japanese getaway can now receive free return flights to Japan when booking selected 2026 sailings with Mitsui Ocean Cruises through Cruise Traveller.
The limited-time offer applies to three all-inclusive voyages departing in July and August 2026 aboard the 458-guest Mitsui Ocean Fuji, Japan’s luxury cruise ship and the former Seabourn Odyssey. Guests who book by 30 June 2026 can receive complimentary return flights to Tokyo from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Discover Japan with a local perspective

Cruise Traveller says the offer provides travellers with a unique opportunity to explore Japan with the country’s own cruise line, combining immersive cultural experiences with the comfort of small-ship luxury.
One featured voyage is an eight-night cruise departing Yokohama on 8 August 2026, taking guests to culturally significant destinations across Japan and South Korea. Ports of call include Wakayama, Busan, Matsuyama and Komatsushima before concluding in Tokyo.
Cruise Traveller Managing Director Joe O’Sullivan said Mitsui Ocean Cruises offers a distinctive way to experience Japan.
“Nobody knows Japan like the country’s own Mitsui Ocean Cruises which offers a completely bespoke way of discovering the country’s ancient and modern wonders on unique journeys imbued with depth, discovery, enrichment and also value-for-money,” O’Sullivan said.
Luxury inclusions at sea

The eight-night sailing is priced from A$8,520 per person, twin-share, in an Oceanview Suite and includes shore excursions, selected beverages and Wi-Fi.
The fly-free promotion also applies to two additional nine-night Mitsui Ocean Cruises departures sailing on 30 July and 16 August 2026.
