Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has confirmed an international line-up of cruise executives for this year’s Cruise360 Australasia conference, with four global industry leaders set to headline the opening session in Sydney this September.
The panel will provide travel advisors with global insights into the future of cruising as part of the conference theme, Future Ready. Client Ready. Cruise Ready.
International expertise on stage
The opening session will feature:
- Helen Beck, Managing Director – Global Commercial, Windstar Cruises
- Mario Bounas, Chief Commercial Officer, Swan Hellenic
- Sam Seward, President, Quark Expeditions
- David Siewers, Chief International Sales Officer, Azamara Cruises.
Together, the panel will discuss product innovation, consumer trends, international deployment strategies and the commercial opportunities expected to shape the cruise industry over the next 12 to 24 months.
Helping advisors prepare for the future
CLIA Executive Director Australasia Joel Katz said the conference would provide valuable insights from across the global cruise sector.
“Together our international panellists represent an incredible amount of experience from different areas of the cruise spectrum, which will give us a fantastic snap-shot of the world cruising environment and the opportunities available for travel advisors,” Katz said.
He said the discussion would help advisors better understand evolving consumer behaviour and build greater commercial confidence in an increasingly dynamic cruise market.
Cruise360 returns to Sydney
Cruise360 Australasia will be held at the International Convention Centre Sydney on 17–18 September.
The two-day event will feature conference sessions, an industry cocktail function and a trade exhibition showcasing CLIA member cruise lines, destinations, suppliers and Executive Partners. Additional program details will be announced in the lead-up to the event.
