PONANT EXPLORATIONS will hold its next round of Discovery Sessions across Auckland, Christchurch, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane this October and November, unveiling the line’s new 2028 and 2029 itineraries.
Guests attending can save up to 30 per cent when booking early, alongside exclusive event offers: an additional 5 per cent saving on staterooms and suites for voyages departing within 12 months of the event, or a €300 shipboard credit per person for voyages departing more than 12 months later.
Two expedition veterans join sessions for the first time

Captain Mathieu Tsingrilaras will speak at the Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane sessions, drawing on more than 11 years with PONANT since joining in 2010. He contributed to the construction and launch of L’Austral and Le Commandant Charcot, and has commanded Le Bellot and Le Boréal, including Antarctic voyages. He also contributes to scouting new itineraries, including winter expeditions in Greenland and voyages along Australia’s west coast.
Expedition Leader Xavier Moroy will speak at the Auckland and Christchurch sessions, drawing on seven years with PONANT, including four as expedition leader overseeing Zodiac operations, landings and excursions. His voyages span Antarctica, the Kimberley, Japan, French Polynesia and Melanesia.
Event format and registration

Each session includes music, canapés, interactive displays and the latest brochures, with the presentation following a browsing period. Capacity is limited at each location.
Travel agents can register themselves and clients through PONANT’s dedicated agent registration page, while individual travellers can register separately for free.
