PONANT showcases Kimberley expedition to home-based advisors

PONANT Explorations has hosted three home-based travel advisors on an educational voyage through the Kimberley as part of its ongoing investment in strengthening product knowledge across Australia’s travel trade.

The famil departed Broome aboard Le Jacques Cartier on 2 July, sailing to Darwin on the cruise line’s Australia’s Iconic Kimberley itinerary.

Advisors experience Kimberley highlights

Hosted by PONANT Explorations National Sales Manager – Home Based Agents Sandra Cahill, the educational brought together Emma Grose from MTA, Nicole Cambourn from TravelManagers and Vicky King from SmartFlyer.

During the voyage, the advisors experienced some of the Kimberley’s best-known natural and cultural attractions, including the King George River, Hunter River, Montgomery Reef and the region’s ancient Gwion Gwion rock art.

OzHarvest founder and Chief Executive Officer Ronni Kahn also travelled on the departure, highlighting the diverse mix of guests attracted to PONANT’s luxury expedition voyages.

Investing in advisor education

PONANT said educational voyages remain an important part of its commitment to equipping travel advisors with firsthand experience of its expedition product.

By experiencing the Kimberley itinerary themselves, advisors are better placed to share authentic insights with clients considering one of Australia’s most sought-after luxury expedition cruises.
