Princess Cruises revamps Academy with new agent rewards campaign

Princess Cruises has refreshed its Princess Academy training platform, unveiling updated learning modules alongside a new “Earn Your Stripes & Win” incentive campaign for travel advisors.

Refreshed training platform for the trade

The revamped Princess Academy introduces a new four-tier recognition structure designed to strengthen advisor product knowledge and sales expertise.

The program now features 25 training modules, including 12 compulsory courses, 12 elective modules and a final assessment covering destinations, fare structures, onboard experiences and sales tools.

Training also includes specialist content across key cruise regions such as:

  • Alaska
  • Japan
  • Asia
  • Europe
  • Mediterranean
  • Australia and New Zealand

Four-tier recognition system introduced

Upon completing modules, advisors progress through four academy levels:

  • First Officer
  • Staff Captain
  • Captain
  • Commodore

Agents who achieve Commodore status become eligible for a Graduation Cruise and ongoing Elite-style benefits, subject to annual requirements.

Princess Cruises said the refreshed platform is designed to deepen advisor confidence while supporting stronger customer engagement and sales performance.

“Earn Your Stripes & Win” incentive launched

To celebrate the relaunch, Princess Cruises has introduced a new trade incentive campaign running until 15 August 2026.

Travel advisors who register and complete an Academy rank during the promotional period will go into the draw to win a range of prizes.

Major prizes for Commodore achievers

Agents reaching Commodore level can enter to win one of five balcony stateroom cruises for two aboard Crown Princess on a Brisbane-to-Sydney sailing departing 2 November 2026.

The prize also includes the Princess Plus package for two guests.

Additional prizes across all ranks

Agents achieving First Officer, Staff Captain, Captain or Commodore status can also win:

  • One of two $500 Future Cruise Credits
  • One of two Princess gift boxes featuring Love Line Premium Liqueurs
  • One of two Classic Luggage Travel Sets by July

To qualify, advisors must complete their training and submit a 25-word response outlining how they will use their Princess Academy knowledge to support clients and drive sales.

Supporting advisor engagement

The initiative reflects continued investment in the travel trade, with cruise lines increasingly using education and incentives to strengthen advisor advocacy and product familiarity.

The refreshed Academy also aligns with Princess Cruises’ broader strategy of enhancing advisor support while growing engagement across key source markets.
