Royal Caribbean International has unveiled the next Icon Class ship, Legend of the Seas, setting sail in July 2026 with record-breaking experiences across eight themed neighbourhoods.
The new ship will feature 28 dining options – the most at sea – along with dazzling new entertainment, nightlife, and family adventures designed to redefine cruising.
A taste of Hollywood and the Silk Road

Food lovers will be spoilt for choice with an extraordinary array of culinary venues. Among the highlights is Royal Railway – Legend Station, an immersive dining experience inspired by the ancient Silk Routes, combining a five-course meal with entertainment and interactive technology.
Also debuting is the Hollywoodland Supper Club, a glamorous new concept evoking the golden age of Hollywood with live jazz, gourmet dining, and theatrical flair. The AquaDome Market returns with a fresh lineup of global cuisines across five all-day food stands and a new juice and smoothie bar for health-conscious travellers.
Nights to remember at sea

Legend of the Seas will introduce more than 20 bars and lounges, including seven live music venues and all-new stage productions. The headline act will be “Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, bringing Broadway magic to the Royal Theatre for the first time at sea.
Spectacular aerial and aquatic performances will take place in the AquaDome’s AquaTheatre, alongside ice shows in Absolute Zero, the largest ice arena at sea. Guests will also find Royal Caribbean’s first-ever two-storey Casino Royale, complete with table games and hundreds of slots.
Adventure and relaxation for every traveller
The ship’s top deck will be a playground of thrills, featuring Category 6, the largest waterpark at sea; Crown’s Edge, a 154-foot-high skywalk and zipline; Lost Dunes mini golf; and the Adrenaline Peak climbing wall.
For those seeking relaxation, there’s a pool for every mood – from the adults-only Hideaway infinity pool and Swim & Tonic swim-up bar to Royal Bay, the largest pool at sea. Families can enjoy upgraded favourites, including a new carousel concept in Surfside and a redesigned Playscape for younger guests.
Mediterranean debut and Caribbean adventures
Legend of the Seas will debut in Europe with seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises departing from Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia) in July 2026. Later that year, the ship will reposition to Fort Lauderdale, offering six-night Western Caribbean and eight-night Southern Caribbean itineraries, featuring calls to Aruba, Curacao and Royal Caribbean’s award-winning private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
