Scenic has launched its most expansive ultra-luxury ocean program to date, unveiling a new 2028–29 Worldwide Voyages and Land Journeys collection spanning more than 100 countries and 600 ports across all seven continents.
Scenic Ikon to debut in landmark season
A major highlight of the new collection is the debut of Scenic Ikon, which will join Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II from April 2028, expanding the brand’s Discovery Yacht fleet to three vessels.
The new deployment marks a significant milestone for Scenic, strengthening its position in the ultra-luxury expedition and discovery cruise sector.
Tom Batchelor, Vice President, Deployment, Product & Port Operations – Ocean, said the collection represented an extraordinary new era for the brand.
“The arrival of Scenic Ikon marks the next evolution of our Scenic Discovery Yacht fleet, while the return of Scenic Eclipse II to Australia, the Kimberley, Asia, the South Pacific and East Antarctica offers guests even more opportunities to explore,” Batchelor said.
Expanded global exploration across seven continents
The 2028–29 program includes itineraries across:
- Antarctica and the Arctic
- Europe and the Mediterranean
- Australia and the Kimberley
- South Pacific and Asia
- The Americas and Greenland
Scenic said the collection focuses on immersive, all-inclusive experiences, combining ultra-luxury cruising with curated land journeys and expedition-led exploration.
Strong demand for polar and Kimberley voyages
Interest in the new collection is already proving strong, with several inaugural Scenic Ikon departures across the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Antarctica reportedly sold out.
The return of Scenic Eclipse II to the Kimberley and East Antarctica follows strong demand generated during the ship’s previous Australian deployments.
Early booking momentum is also building for the Kimberley season after Scenic’s 2025 program sold out.
Elevated inclusions target luxury market
The new collection builds on Scenic’s premium inclusions strategy, with guests receiving:
- Scenic Discovery and Scenic Freechoice excursions
- Included helicopter flightseeing on eligible Super Earlybird bookings
- Private jet upgrades for select Antarctica suite categories
- Private chauffeur transfers and exclusive excursions on selected itineraries
The enhanced offering reinforces Scenic’s all-inclusive luxury positioning in the expedition market.

The Kimberley expedition includes Indigenous-led experiences, helicopter excursions and remote fishing adventures aboard Scenic Eclipse II.
Scenic expands integrated travel strategy
Launching alongside the new season is Scenic’s Expeditions Voyages & Land Journeys brochure, combining expedition cruising with inland touring extensions across South America, Northern Europe and the Arctic.
A second brochure covering Europe, the Mediterranean, Australia and Oceania will be released later this month.
