Silversea unveils biggest-ever 2028–2029 voyage collection

Silversea has launched its 2028–2029 Voyage Collection, featuring 278 voyages to 497 destinations across 71 countries and introducing its largest-ever Mediterranean expedition program, an expanded Antarctica Fly Cruise offering and a new 60-day Grand Mediterranean Voyage.

The new collection, which opens for general sale on 9 July 2026, spans departures from March 2028 to March 2029 and includes more than 120 new or reintroduced ports across the cruise line’s classic and expedition itineraries.

Mediterranean program expands

A highlight of the new season is Silversea’s most extensive Mediterranean expedition program to date aboard Silver Wind.

The itineraries explore destinations including the Greek Isles, Northern Africa and the Adriatic, with calls to lesser-visited ports such as Milos, Amorgos, Folegandros, Pantelleria, Algiers and Bejaia. Guests will also enjoy a rare inland sailing along Spain’s Guadalquivir River to Seville, complemented by Zodiac excursions, guided hikes and cultural experiences.

The Mediterranean deployment also includes five luxury ships – Silver Ray, Silver Nova, Silver Dawn, Silver Spirit and Silver Shadow – sailing to iconic ports and boutique destinations throughout the region.

New Grand Mediterranean voyage

Silver Dawn will operate a new 60-day Grand Mediterranean Voyage departing on 23 September 2028.

The itinerary visits 50 destinations across 13 countries, including Istanbul, Dubrovnik and Amalfi, alongside lesser-known ports such as Menton in France, Naxos in Greece and Roses on Spain’s Costa Brava.

Guests will also enjoy exclusive shoreside experiences, including a private evening on Athens’ historic Yiasemi Street and a special Papal experience in Rome.

Antarctica and Northern Europe

Silversea has also expanded its Antarctica Fly Cruise program, allowing guests to begin their journey with a stay at The Cormorant at 55 South in Puerto Williams, Chile, before boarding a private charter flight directly to King George Island, avoiding the Drake Passage.

The season features 41 Antarctica departures across Silver Cloud, Silver Endeavour and Silver Wind, including dedicated Christmas and New Year voyages.

Meanwhile, Silver Nova will make its Northern Europe debut, sailing Norway’s Heritage Fjords alongside Silver Spirit, while Silver Spirit will also operate its inaugural Canada and New England season with extended stays in Québec City, Halifax and Boston.

Voyages timed with iconic events

Many itineraries have been scheduled to coincide with major cultural events and seasonal highlights around the world.

Guests can experience the Monaco Grand Prix from Silver Ray, Japan’s famous matsuri festivals aboard Silver Whisper, Scandinavia’s midsummer celebrations and Europe’s autumn grape harvest, with more than 50 overnight port stays included across the collection.

Silversea’s destination-focused S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) culinary program will also feature throughout the new season, alongside an expanded range of pre- and post-cruise land experiences.
