Variety Cruises is targeting the Australian and New Zealand market with new savings on its Tahiti and French Polynesia sailings, as improved air access makes the destination more accessible than ever.
The small-ship cruise operator is offering 15 per cent off all 2027 Tahiti departures booked by 30 June 2026, with fares starting from €2,167.50 per person for a seven-night island-hopping voyage through French Polynesia.
The offer comes as Air Tahiti Nui prepares to launch a new non-stop Sydney–Papeete service on 14 December 2026, creating a direct link between Australia and the South Pacific destination.
Direct flights expected to boost demand
The new twice-weekly service is expected to strengthen demand from Australian and New Zealand travellers seeking easier access to Tahiti and its neighbouring islands.
Variety Cruises’ seven-night itinerary visits destinations including Bora Bora and Mo’orea, with guests also enjoying secluded swim stops and immersive experiences throughout the region.
The cruise line also offers longer 10-night and 11-night itineraries across French Polynesia.
Savings available on 2027 departures
Travellers booking a 2027 departure before 30 June 2026 can secure a 15 per cent discount, while bookings made between 1 July and 15 September 2026 will receive a 10 per cent saving.
The promotion is designed to encourage early bookings as interest in the destination grows ahead of the launch of the new Sydney–Papeete route.
Incentive targets travel advisors
Variety Cruises is also offering a dedicated incentive for the trade, rewarding advisors who generate sales on Tahiti departures.
Travel advisors who sell three cabins on 2026 or 2027 Tahiti sailings will receive a complimentary cruise for two, which can be used as a famil opportunity or sold to clients.
The incentive aims to provide advisors with first-hand experience of the product while supporting sales growth in the region.
