Trafalgar has expanded its river cruise portfolio with the introduction of Trafalgar Harmonie, set to sail the Seine on a new itinerary, Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy, from April 2027.
Damien O’Connor, Vice President, River Cruise, Trafalgar, said launching on the Seine is a natural step as the brand grows its river cruise fleet, with France continuing to be a strong performer for travellers seeking immersive, story-led touring.
Built for agents looking to bundle land and river
TTC Tour Brands Senior Vice President Sales Oceania Andrew Young said France remains a high-demand destination for Australian travellers, and the new Seine itinerary has been designed to connect neatly with Trafalgar’s land tours departing Paris. He added the product supports multi-modal selling by linking river and rail through a streamlined booking process, making it easier for agents to build longer, higher-value itineraries.
Trafalgar Harmonie: 126 guests, French flavours and river views throughout
Trafalgar Harmonie will operate with a 3:1 guest-to-staff ratio and a culinary focus built around French dining traditions. The 126-passenger ship offers seven cabin categories, with every stateroom featuring a river view. Onboard spaces include a lounge and sundeck, designed for relaxed sightseeing as the ship travels through the Seine corridor.
Signature experiences across Paris and Normandy
Onshore touring is led by Trafalgar’s Experience Director and Experience Manager, with experiences including Be My Guest visits with local families at cider farms in Normandy and a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience in Paris focused on heritage preservation and sustainable urban planning. The itinerary also includes visits to Monet’s gardens in Giverny and the Normandy World War II beaches.
Pricing and extensions
The river itinerary is positioned for easy pairing with Trafalgar’s Wonderful France and Villages of France land tours, while optional pre- and post-trip extensions in London and Paris are also available, with transfers included. Select 2027 sailings are priced from AU$5,699 per person, with free cabin upgrades available during the Big Travel Sale, alongside Global Tour Rewards savings.
