Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has announced a new training course within its Uniworld University programme, designed to give travel advisors insight into the brand’s upcoming plans for 2026 and 2027.
The course coincides with Uniworld’s 50th anniversary celebrations and will provide advisors with updates on new ships, expanded itineraries and upcoming Cruise & Tour journeys.
New course supports travel advisor partners

The programme offers advisors an in-depth look at Uniworld’s future developments, equipping them with tools and knowledge to better promote the brand’s products.
“As we celebrate 50 years of Uniworld, we’re not only reflecting on our legacy but looking ahead to a future shaped by even more immersive and innovative experiences,” said Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises.
Advisors who complete the course will receive CLIA certification credits, exclusive travel advisor rates and recognition as a Uniworld Preferred Specialist, including an official badge listed on the brand’s website.
New ships joining the fleet

The course also highlights the brand’s fleet expansion, which will see Uniworld transition into a fully Super Ship fleet by 2027.
The new S.S. Emilie will debut in March 2026 and is inspired by Austrian artist Gustav Klimt and his muse Emilie Flöge. The vessel features an Art Nouveau design, expanded suites and new sustainability features.
Three additional Super Ships will follow in 2027:
- S.S. Audrey, inspired by screen legend Audrey Hepburn
- S.S. Marlene, inspired by Marlene Dietrich
- S.S. São Rafael, which will sail Portugal’s Douro River and expand capacity in the region
A further addition will be the Aqua Blu expedition yacht, operated in partnership with Aqua Expeditions and sailing select voyages in Indonesia and Singapore.
Celebrating 50 years of Uniworld

In 2026, the brand will mark its 50th anniversary with special onboard celebrations, including themed events such as the Golden Party on European sailings.
The year will also feature the third Rivers of the World cruise, a 50-night journey across three continents aboard the S.S. Emilie, along with three Mystery Cruises scheduled throughout the year.
New Cruise & Tour journeys launching in 2027
Uniworld will also introduce a series of Cruise & Tour experiences in partnership with sister brand Luxury Gold, combining river cruising with small-group land journeys.
These itineraries include:
- Revel in Switzerland & the Danube, a 17-day journey from Geneva to Budapest featuring the Glacier Express and Michelin-starred dining
- Discover Portugal & Spain, a 20-day experience from Madrid to Porto including a Douro cruise and cultural experiences across Iberia
- Experience the Best of Italy, a 19-day itinerary combining a Venetian lagoon cruise with highlights such as Capri, Pompeii and Tuscan truffle hunting
Expansion across Europe and Southeast Asia
The brand will also expand its global itineraries in 2026 and 2027 with new journeys across Europe and Asia.
Highlights include the Bali, Singapore & Indonesia Expedition featuring an expedition cruise through Komodo National Park and the Spice Islands, as well as new European itineraries such as Paris, Prague & Germany’s Hidden Gems and Scenic Rhine, Paris & the Swiss Alps.
