Viking has expanded its Virtual Explorer Sessions program, unveiling four new online events focused on Alaska, France, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
New destination sessions announced

Running from June to September 2026, the complimentary sessions are designed to help travel advisors educate clients and drive future cruise bookings across Viking’s river and ocean portfolio.
The expanded series follows strong engagement from previous virtual events focused on Mediterranean and Egypt itineraries.
Alaska takes centre stage

The first session, Alaska & The Inside Passage, will take place on 25 June 2026 and spotlight Viking’s 11-day Alaska itinerary between Vancouver and Seward.
The presentation will cover highlights including:
- Ketchikan
- Skagway
- Hubbard Glacier
- Wildlife and scenic cruising experiences
The session will also feature live Q&A opportunities, prize giveaways and exclusive booking offers.
Advisors rewarded for participation

Viking is also introducing a trade incentive linked to the sessions.
Travel advisors will earn:
- AU$10 in Rewards by Viking points for every attending client referred
- An additional AU$50 in bonus points if the client books within 14 days of the session
Agents must register client details with Viking before each event to qualify.
Europe-focused sessions continue

Additional sessions scheduled throughout 2026 include:
- France’s Finest – 16 July 2026
- Viking Homelands – 20 August 2026
- Capitals of Eastern Europe – 24 September 2026
The sessions will showcase Viking’s destination-focused itineraries across river and ocean cruising, combining cultural insights with practical travel planning information.
Viking strengthens trade engagement

Viking said the Explorer Sessions program continues to serve as a key conversion tool for advisors by giving clients a deeper understanding of the onboard experience and destinations before booking.
The initiative also reflects the growing role of virtual education and destination storytelling within the cruise trade sector.
