Windstar unveils most expansive Caribbean and Latin America season yet

Windstar Cruises has launched its largest ever Caribbean and Latin America voyage programme for winter 2026/2027. With 35 sailings across ten unique itineraries and four yacht‑style ships—including the debut of Star Seeker in the Caribbean—agents now have access to a broader range of warm‑weather, intimate cruising experiences.

Caribbean escapes beyond the ordinary

Tiny ports, quiet beaches and authentic regional flavours define this season’s Caribbean offering. Departures from San Juan or Saint Maarten run from November through March, showcasing destinations like Anguilla, Jost Van Dyke and the Grenadines. Yacht‑to‑shore access via Windstar’s signature Marina platform enables snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding, capped by beach barbecues in Virgin Gorda and Mayreau.

The line’s flagship sailing yacht, Wind Surf, alternates between “Beach Fun & Sun: A Remote Caribbean Getaway” and “Classic Caribbean” seven‑night cruises from December to March. Meanwhile, Star Pride sails weekly between various Virgin Islands and Windward Islands routes from October to January. Star Legend kicks off the season with two Barbados departures before moving south towards Latin America.

Latin America offers new heights and depths

Windstar’s Latin America programme continues to evolve with a cruise tour combining a seven‑night Costa Rica & Panama Canal voyage with a five‑night Machu Picchu experience—including round‑trip Vistadome train access and a guided visit to Cusco.

Ships Star Legend, Wind Star and Star Pride feature itineraries showcasing daylight Panama Canal transits, Caribbean‑style storytelling and immersive shore excursions. Voyages include Panama Canal, Cartagena, San Blas Islands & More, offering kayak excursions with manta rays and a beach barbecue escape. On Naturally Costa Rica, the journey unfolds through rainforests, wildlife‑rich national parks and serene catamaran cruises along Playa Flamingo.

Pre‑ and post‑cruise land packages round out the adventure with Arenal hot springs, cloud‑forest hikes, wildlife spotting and a memorable visit to Machu Picchu’s iconic mountain temples.

Longer sailings for deeper discovery

Trade partners can also offer clients Star Collector voyages—longer sailings that combine multiple itineraries for in-depth exploration. These include a 16‑night Latin American Explorer and a 70‑night Grand Star Collector from Istanbul to Costa Rica, with added perks like complimentary laundry and cultural immersion.
