Atlas Ocean Voyages has unveiled its 2026/2027 Antarctic expedition season, offering a collection of immersive itineraries that take travellers to one of the world’s most remote and awe-inspiring destinations.
Bookings are now open, with guests who book by 30 June 2025 receiving a complimentary stateroom or suite category upgrade and savings of up to 20 per cent per stateroom.
A season of extraordinary exploration
Marking its fifth season in Antarctica, Atlas Ocean Voyages will operate 23 departures in 2026/2027 aboard World Navigator and World Traveller, while World Voyager will be under full charter. The season offers six unique itineraries, catering to a variety of expedition styles:
- Antarctic Discovery – a nine-night roundtrip from Ushuaia with up to four immersive days on the Antarctic Peninsula. Departures: 8, 28 November, 27 December 2026, and 1, 5, 10 February, 8, 19 March 2027.
- Antarctic & Falklands Adventure – a 16-night Buenos Aires to Ushuaia voyage featuring diverse wildlife encounters, shore landings, and Zodiac safaris. Departures: 12 November 2026, 13 March 2027.
- exploring the last continent – two 11-night expeditions from Ushuaia, offering stunning landscapes and opportunities to witness nesting penguins and feeding whales. Departures: 17 November 2026, 2 March 2027.
- Drake Express – a nine-night roundtrip from King George Island, flying over the Drake Passage one way and sailing the other. Includes a post-expedition hotel night in Punta Arenas. Departures: 28 November, 7, 14 December 2026.
- crossing the Antarctic circle – an 11-night roundtrip from Ushuaia with up to six days on the Antarctic Peninsula, including Captain’s Choice landings. Departures: 16, 23 December 2026, and 21 January, 14, 19, 25 February 2027.
- Grand Antarctica & Beyond – an 18-night voyage from Ushuaia exploring Antarctica, South Georgia, and the Falkland Islands. Departure: 3 January 2027.

Every Atlas Ocean Voyages expedition includes a selection of always-included amenities such as fine wines, spirits, craft beers, specialty coffees, and gratuities for onboard staff. Shore landings, Zodiac safaris, and a pre-expedition hotel night in Buenos Aires or Punta Arenas are also included. Fly the Drake itineraries feature charter flights from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia or Punta Arenas to King George Island.

The Explorer’s Table dining experience offers a global culinary journey with multi-course tasting menus featuring flavours from Spain, Korea, France, Argentina, and North America. Set in the domed Observation Lounge for just ten guests per evening, the experience is available by reservation 60 days before embarkation at a cost of US$179 per person.
Special fares and savings
Launch fares for the 2026/2027 Antarctica season start from US$9416 per person, twin share, for a nine-night sailing on 19 March 2027, reflecting a saving of US$1583 per person. Guests booking by 30 June 2025 will also receive a complimentary upgrade from an Adventure Ocean View cabin to a Horizon or Veranda Stateroom.
