Celestyal has entered into a three-year agreement with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), enhancing its commitment to the Arabian Gulf region.
This partnership will see Celestyal operating two ships in the area, with Abu Dhabi serving as a key port of call. The cruise line plans to make three weekly visits to Abu Dhabi during the winter seasons, starting December 2025 and continuing through March 2026.
Diverse itineraries and shore excursions
The 1,360-passenger Celestyal Discovery will homeport in Abu Dhabi from December 12, 2025, offering a range of cruises:
- Three-night weekend sailings visiting Dubai and Sir Bani Yas Island
- Four-night midweek cruises calling at Doha, Ras Al Khaimah, and Khasab
- Seven-night ‘Iconic Arabia’ voyages exploring multiple destinations
Passengers can choose from nine curated shore excursions in Abu Dhabi, including cultural tours, desert safaris, beach experiences, and visits to local attractions.
