Holland America launches sale to celebrate 153 years

Holland America Line is marking 153 years of exploration with the launch of a new Anniversary Sale, delivering a suite of booking incentives across a wide range of global itineraries.

Running from 2 April to 1 June 2026, the campaign covers departures from April 2026 through to April 2027, with voyages ranging from four to 69 days.

The promotion includes up to 25% off cruise-only fares, onboard credits of up to USD $400 per stateroom, and 50% reduced deposits, offering strong value for both new and returning guests.

Added value for families and premium travellers

Families are also a key focus, with reduced fares available for third and fourth guests aged 18 and under when travelling in the same stateroom on selected departures.

The Anniversary Sale can be combined with Holland America Line’s “Have It All” premium fare, which adds further inclusions such as shore excursions, a Signature Beverage Package, specialty dining and a Wi-Fi Surf Package.

Worldwide itineraries featured in sale

The promotion spans Holland America Line’s full global deployment, including:

  • Alaska cruises and Cruisetours
  • Caribbean sailings
  • Canada and New England
  • Northern Europe and the Mediterranean
  • Australia and New Zealand
  • South America and Antarctica
  • Asia, Hawaii, Mexico and the Pacific Coast

Collectors’ Voyages, which combine back-to-back itineraries into extended journeys, are also included.

Onboard credit enhances guest experience

Guests booking under the promotion will receive onboard credit that can be used across a range of onboard experiences, including specialty dining, spa treatments, shore excursions and retail purchases.

Holland America Line President Beth Bodensteiner said the campaign recognises loyal guests while inviting new travellers to experience the brand’s premium cruise offering.

Strong trade and consumer appeal

With hundreds of sailings included and added incentives across multiple fare types, the Anniversary Sale is positioned to drive demand across both the trade and direct booking channels.

The campaign underscores Holland America Line’s continued focus on immersive itineraries, destination-led experiences and value-driven promotions in the premium cruise sector.
