Holland America Line has opened sales for nearly three dozen new voyages across the 2027–2028 season, spanning Hawaii, Mexico, the Panama Canal and the Pacific Coast.
The newly released itineraries operate between October and April and will sail aboard Koningsdam, Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam and Zaandam from five North American homeports, offering a mix of winter-sun escapes, extended destination immersion and scenic coastal cruising.
Longer stays and deeper destination exploration
The 2027–2028 program places a strong focus on longer port stays and in-depth regional exploration, including extended time in Honolulu and expanded itineraries through Mexico’s Sea of Cortez.
Holland America Line vice president of itinerary planning and deployment Paul Grigsby said the season reflects the cruise line’s long-standing expertise across the Pacific.
Guests will experience cultural programming, wildlife encounters and regionally inspired cuisine through offerings such as Hawaii Up Close, Destination Dining and the Global Fresh Fish Program.
Hawaii sailings feature extended Honolulu calls
Hawaii itineraries range from 17 to 18 days and include calls to Kauai, Oahu, Maui and the Big Island, with select sailings featuring overnight or extended stays of up to 40 hours in Honolulu.
Cruises also highlight natural attractions such as volcanoes, black-sand beaches and rainforest landscapes, supported by cultural experiences including luaus, stargazing and island-themed enrichment.
Panama Canal voyages span 14 to 22 days
Panama Canal itineraries range from 14 to 22 days and offer full transits of the Gatun, Pedro Miguel and Miraflores Locks.
Voyages include ports across Central America and Mexico, with shore experiences ranging from UNESCO World Heritage sites and archaeological discoveries to rainforest wildlife encounters and coastal cultural immersion.
Mexico itineraries cover Riviera, Baja and Sea of Cortez
Mexico sailings include short escapes and longer exploration itineraries across the Mexican Riviera, Baja Peninsula and Sea of Cortez.
Options range from five-day sunshine getaways to 12-day historical itineraries, with calls at destinations such as Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, Loreto, La Paz and Ensenada.
Pacific Coast cruises return with Great Bear Rainforest
Pacific Coast itineraries range from one to seven days and include sailings between San Diego, Vancouver and Seattle.
The popular Great Bear Rainforest itinerary returns in 2028, sailing roundtrip from Vancouver and featuring overnight calls in Prince Rupert alongside wildlife-rich coastal cruising through British Columbia.
