Hurtigruten has unveiled three new ‘Limited Collection’ itineraries for 2027–2028, offering deeper exploration of Norway’s western fjords and high Arctic regions.
Operating between April 2027 and May 2028 aboard MS Trollfjord, the new Signature voyages draw on more than 130 years of coastal sailing experience. Routes are shaped by seasonal conditions, with captains able to adapt sailings to maximise scenery and wildlife encounters.
Guests will enjoy longer stays of typically nine to 15 hours in fewer, less-visited ports, including Rosendal, Skjolden and Eidfjord, alongside flexible sailing plans designed to deliver the best possible viewing conditions.
Three new ‘Limited Collection’ itineraries
The Arctic Line
A 12-day northbound or 11-day southbound winter voyage between Copenhagen and Tromsø. Highlights include Lofoten, the North Cape and overnight stays in Alta and Tromsø, with up to seven days spent beneath the auroral oval to maximise Northern Lights viewing opportunities. Prices start from $5,249 per person, with the first departure on 31 December 2027 from Copenhagen.
The Inner Fjords Explorer
An eight-day spring and autumn roundtrip from Bergen and Hurtigruten’s first fjord-only itinerary. The voyage sails into Lysefjord, Hardangerfjord, Sognefjord and Nordfjord, reaching the innermost sections of each fjord. Scenic cruising is guided by the captain’s discretion. Prices start from $3,502 per person, departing from 26 April 2027.
The Arctic Circle Explorer
An eight-day winter roundtrip from Tromsø that remains entirely within the Arctic Circle. The itinerary visits Lofoten, Alta and Honningsvåg, with an optional excursion to the North Cape and an overnight stay in Alta. Flexible routing and minimal light pollution create ideal Northern Lights viewing conditions. Prices start from $4,395 per person, with the first departure on 11 January 2028.
Hedda Felin, CEO of Hurtigruten, said the new itineraries reflect the line’s deep expertise along the Norwegian coast.

They are voyages shaped by nature, guided by expertise, and created for travellers who want to truly connect with the places they visit, not just sail past them,’ Felin said.
All voyages include Hurtigruten’s Signature premium onboard experience, featuring all-inclusive dining and drinks, daily talks from the Expedition Team and the Norway’s Coastal Kitchen concept, which showcases regional ingredients sourced along the route.
To celebrate the launch, guests who book by 30 April 2026 will receive up to $800 in onboard credit per cabin.
