SeaDream Yacht Club is rolling out a three-year program of new port additions, with more than 50 new port visits in 2027-2028 targeting secluded Mediterranean, European and Caribbean anchorages.
The expansion was announced by the Miami-based, family-owned line, which pioneered boutique yacht cruising in 2001. Both SeaDream I and SeaDream II carry a maximum of 112 guests each, with a near one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio.
2026 maiden voyages to Europe and Puerto Rico
SeaDream I and SeaDream II are already calling at new ports this season. Among the 2026 additions:
- Primosten, Croatia – a medieval peninsula town with cobblestone lanes and pebble beaches
- Syvota and Galaxidi, Greece – crystalline Epirus coves and a neoclassical village near Delphi
- Setúbal, Portugal – a historic city south of Lisbon
- Fajardo Bay, Puerto Rico – a return after a decade, with kayaking in bioluminescent waters
The new ports join established favourites including Amalfi, Hvar and St. Barths, with extended overnight stays allowing guests to remain ashore into the evening rather than re-boarding before dark.
The compact footprint is central to SeaDream’s positioning for travel agents targeting high-value independent travellers. At 112 guests per vessel with a near-matched crew count, the yachts are small enough to anchor in ports that turn away larger ships. The all-inclusive model covers dining, beverages, watersports and gratuities.
27 new ports in 2027 across Europe
The 2027 season represents the largest single expansion, adding 27 ports with new turnaround ports at Leith (Edinburgh) and Portsmouth open new voyage options and extending the line’s British Isles reach.
Highlights include:
- Vágur, Faroe Islands – a deep-water port on Suðuroy island with hiking trails and Faroese culture
- Fair Isle and Stromness, Scotland – remote isles offering seabirds and Neolithic ruins
- Kinsale and Youghal, Ireland – historic harbours known for medieval architecture and culinary scenes
- Caen-Ouistreham, France – gateway to the Normandy D-Day beaches
- Capraia, Italy – a Tuscan island with a protected marine reserve
- Lagos, Portugal – an Algarve port with sea cliffs and golden beaches
Signature itineraries include Oslo to Edinburgh, Glasgow to Dublin and a Valletta-to-Rome sailing timed around the 2027 solar eclipse.
Caribbean and Nordic firsts headline 2028 season
The 2028 season adds at least 28 ports across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and Caribbean. Among the first-time calls:
- Portonovi, Montenegro – a luxury marina community on the Bay of Kotor
- Visby, Sweden – a UNESCO-listed medieval city with intact 13th-century walls
- Fjällbacka, Sweden – a granite-sculpted archipelago on Sweden’s west coast
- Port St. Charles, Barbados and St. Pierre, Martinique – both new to the SeaDream Caribbean program
The 2028 schedule also includes Bol on the Croatian island of Brač and Carloforte on the Italian island of San Pietro, alongside extended stays in Portofino, Dubrovnik and Norway’s fjords.
