Travelmarvel’s newest river ship, Travelmarvel Rigel, has officially entered service, welcoming guests onboard for its inaugural sailing as the latest addition to the brand’s growing European river cruise fleet.
The purpose-built vessel has commenced its first season sailing the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, marking another milestone in Travelmarvel’s continued investment in European river cruising.
New ship begins maiden season
Fresh images released by Travelmarvel provide the first look at Rigel in operation, showcasing the ship’s contemporary interiors, modern design and onboard facilities as guests embark on its inaugural voyage.
The new vessel has been purpose-built for Europe’s waterways and forms part of the company’s strategy to expand its premium river cruise offering.
Travelmarvel said Rigel represents the next chapter for the brand, combining contemporary styling with an onboard experience designed to appeal to today’s river cruise traveller.

With Travelmarvel Rigel now sailing, the cruise line will continue to grow its presence across Europe’s most popular river cruise itineraries, including voyages along the Rhine, Main and Danube.
