Azamara Journey debuts new entertainment lineup

Azamara Cruises has expanded its onboard entertainment offering with the launch of new original stage productions aboard Azamara Journey, marking the second ship in the fleet to introduce the cruise line’s reimagined entertainment program.

Developed in partnership with live entertainment specialist RWS Global, the new productions combine live music, theatrical storytelling, contemporary choreography and immersive visual elements designed to enhance the guest experience at sea.

New productions take centre stage

The new entertainment program debuted aboard Azamara Journey on 21 May 2026 during the Spain Intensive Cruise visiting Barcelona, Ibiza and Majorca.

Guests can now enjoy two exclusive productions, Rendezvous in Paris and Cinemaphonic, alongside fleet-wide shows Written in the Stars and Vinyl Records: The Studio Sessions.

Azamara Cruises Vice President of Hotel Operations Simon Blacoe said the new productions reflected the brand’s ongoing investment in onboard experiences.

“Entertainment is an essential part of the onboard experience, and we’re excited to continue evolving our programming aboard Azamara Journey,” Blacoe said.

“These new productions bring together incredible talent, memorable music and immersive storytelling to create dynamic performances that guests can enjoy throughout their sailing.”

Parisian glamour and cinematic magic

Rendezvous in Paris transports guests to a sophisticated Parisian cabaret inspired by the glamour of the Lido de Paris and the playful energy of Blanc de Blanc. Featuring classic French music, couture-inspired costumes and audience interaction, the production celebrates the romance and elegance of the French capital.

Meanwhile, Cinemaphonic follows four aspiring performers on a journey from casting call to awards night, blending iconic movie music, contemporary hits and theatrical storytelling into a high-energy stage spectacle.

Fleet-wide rollout continues

The entertainment initiative first launched aboard Azamara Pursuit in April 2026 and will continue rolling out across the fleet.

Azamara Quest will introduce the new productions from 26 November 2026, while Azamara Onward will follow on 13 April 2027.

The expanded entertainment program forms part of a multi-year partnership between Azamara Cruises and RWS Global, building on a creative relationship that began in 2017.
