Azamara Cruises has revealed its 2029 World Cruise Collection, offering three sailings ranging from 139 to 195 nights, spanning five continents and 40 countries and territories, with the full journey opening for booking on 23 September 2026.
Full 195-night voyage covers 12 maiden ports
The marquee 195-night World Cruise sails aboard Azamara Quest from San Diego to Copenhagen, calling at 126 ports and including 12 maiden ports for the brand. The itinerary features 16 overnight stays and 60 late nights, with 65 per cent of the sailing spent in port, which Azamara says gives more time in destination than any other 2029 World Cruise. The journey includes an extended exploration of the South Pacific and the Baltic.
Two shorter options are also available: a 179-night voyage from San Diego to London, spanning five continents with 52 late nights, 16 overnight stays and 12 maiden ports; and a 139-night voyage from Sydney to Copenhagen, spanning five continents with 43 late nights, 11 overnight stays and four maiden ports.
Bookings open in stages from September
The full 195-night World Cruise opens for booking on 23 September 2026, with the two shorter itineraries opening 14 October 2026. Full itinerary details, AzAmazing Evenings event information and cruise inclusions will be announced on 23 September.
David Siewers, Azamara’s chief sales officer for international, said the collection responds to guest demand for more flexible world cruise options. “Our guests have told us they want a world cruise that gives them choices, and in 2029 we’re giving them three distinct ways to see the world,” Siewers said.
For agents selling long-form cruising to clients considering a world cruise, the tiered length options give a way to match different budgets and time commitments to Azamara’s Destination Immersion positioning, with the Sydney departure point on the 139-night option offering a direct booking hook for Australian clients.
