Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has confirmed the return of its flagship Cruise Industry Awards, with the 24th annual event set for 13 February 2027 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.
Following strong momentum from this year’s awards, the event will once again bring together the Australasian cruise sector to recognise standout performers across CLIA’s Australian and New Zealand membership base.
Record interest signals cruise sector strength
CLIA Australasia Managing Director Joel Katz said the growing scale of the awards reflects heightened engagement across the region’s travel trade.
“Our most recent awards attracted more nominations than ever before and more attendees than we’ve ever hosted in this region,” Katz said. “That enthusiasm highlights the strength of the cruise sector and the important role travel agents continue to play.”
Katz added that announcing the 2027 date well in advance would allow agents and cruise line members to plan ahead for what is expected to be another high-profile industry gathering.
More details to follow later this year
Information on award categories and the nomination process will be released later in 2026, with tickets made available exclusively to CLIA members closer to the event date.
The Cruise Industry Awards remain one of the most anticipated fixtures on the Australasian travel calendar, celebrating excellence, innovation and leadership across the cruise community.
