Coral Expeditions expands solo traveller program with record no-supplement departures

Coral Expeditions has expanded its Solo Traveller Program, adding a record number of departures with no solo supplement and extending early access to standby fares, as the line responds to growing demand from independent travellers.

Solo travellers currently account for 34 per cent of all domestic overnight trips in Australia, and the global solo travel market is projected to grow 14.3 per cent annually through to 2030, with the Asia-Pacific region forecast to grow 16.1 per cent a year, according to figures cited by Coral Expeditions.

No Solo Supplement Departures added on long-lead voyages

The expansion introduces a record number of No Solo Supplement Departures on long-lead voyages, with select cabins bookable well ahead of travel without a solo supplement.

Coral Expeditions has also extended its Solo Traveller Standby Offers, which now open 60-plus days before departure rather than 30 days. The offers remove the solo supplement, giving spontaneous travellers earlier and more affordable access to available cabins.

New hosted group departures target first-time solo guests

The line is releasing a select number of new Hosted Solo Traveller Group departures, escorted voyages with dedicated crew hosts and structured opportunities to connect with fellow travellers. These departures include pre-cruise accommodation, a welcome event and additional extras as standard inclusions, and are aimed particularly at first-time solo expedition guests.

New solo travel webpage

Coral Expeditions has launched a dedicated Solo Travel webpage to help guests compare voyage options, fares and availability across the expanded program.
