HX Expeditions is giving travellers an extra incentive to book an Antarctic adventure, launching a new Premium Air Credit offer worth up to $3,000 per person on selected departures.
Available on new bookings made between 12 May and 30 June 2026, the promotion applies to qualifying Antarctica expeditions departing between 1 October 2026 and 31 March 2027.
The initiative marks the first time HX has offered air credits, providing travellers with savings on premium international flights while enhancing the overall expedition experience.
New incentive for Antarctica travellers
Under the offer, guests booking return international Premium Economy flights as part of an HX expedition package will receive a $1,500 air credit per person.
Those booking return international Business Class flights will receive a $3,000 air credit per person.
HX said the promotion is designed to make the journey to Antarctica more comfortable and seamless, ensuring travellers arrive rested and ready to experience one of the world’s most remote destinations.

“This offer gives our partners a compelling way to enhance their clients’ trip from the outset – combining the comfort of premium air with meaningful savings, backed by 130 years of expedition experience.”
Supporting a seamless expedition experience
The launch coincides with HX celebrating 130 years since its first polar voyage and reflects the company’s ongoing focus on improving the end-to-end guest experience.
HX said the initiative aims to remove friction from expedition travel by making premium air travel more accessible for guests travelling to and from Antarctica.
The offer is available on eligible Antarctica departures across the 2026–2027 season when flights are booked as part of an HX expedition package.
Antarctica remains a key growth market
As the world’s largest expedition cruise operator in Antarctica, HX continues to expand its focus on polar travel, combining expedition cruising with science, conservation and education programs.
The company operates a fleet of five expedition ships visiting more than 250 destinations worldwide and has been guiding travellers to Antarctica since 1896.
