Maltese Falcon opens first guest transatlantic crossing

Jumeirah is offering guests the chance to experience the iconic sailing superyacht Maltese Falcon on its first-ever transatlantic crossing available as a private charter.

The exclusive Jumeirah Privé Experience will see the 88-metre yacht sail from Gran Canaria to Antigua in December 2026, transforming what has traditionally been a repositioning voyage into a luxury ocean crossing for a single private group.

Crossing becomes the destination

Departing between 1 and 5 December 2026, the itinerary includes 10 days at sea before arriving in Antigua for a stay of up to three days.

Rather than focusing on ports of call, the voyage has been designed to make the ocean crossing itself the highlight, with guests enjoying uninterrupted time at sea as the yacht sails from Europe to the Caribbean.

Jumeirah will deliver its signature hospitality throughout the voyage, with curated dining experiences, wellness offerings and personalised service.

Award-winning superyacht

Widely regarded as one of the world’s most recognisable sailing superyachts, Maltese Falcon has received more than 18 industry awards since entering service in 2006.

Following a major refurbishment, the yacht accommodates up to 12 guests and features a three-deck atrium, outdoor cinema, rotating sunbed on the flybridge, wellness area, fitness studio and a private VIP deck.

Its distinctive DynaRig sailing system uses three freestanding carbon-fibre masts capable of deploying 2,400 square metres of sail in just six minutes.

While Maltese Falcon has completed the Atlantic crossing regularly as part of its seasonal repositioning, this is the first time the voyage has been offered as a guest experience.

Pricing for the exclusive full-charter voyage is available on request.
