Red Sea Global launches yachting network linking two marinas

Red Sea Global has launched Yachting Network, bringing its marina and marine services on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast under a single operator, connecting AMAALA and Shura Island through 278 berths across two marinas.

From winter 2026, private and charter yachts cruising Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast will be able to access both AMAALA Marina and Shura Island Marina under a single berthing contract. AMAALA Marina offers 119 berths for yachts up to 120 metres, while Shura Island Marina, described as Saudi Arabia’s largest island marina, offers 159 berths for yachts up to 120 metres. Further marinas and anchorages are set to join the network in 2027.

John Pagano, group chief executive of Red Sea Global, said the network was designed to simplify cruising across the coast.

“The launch of Yachting Network marks an important milestone in establishing the Red Sea as a destination for the international yachting community. It allows us to offer yacht owners and charter guests a connected experience across the coast, and for captains and crew, it means greater simplicity on the ground, with berthing and marine services coordinated through a single network,” Pagano said.

AMAALA positioned as gateway 1,300 nautical miles from Monaco

AMAALA Yacht Club sits approximately 1,300 nautical miles from Monaco via the Suez Canal, comparable in distance to a flight from London to Athens, positioning it as a winter base for yachts exploring beyond the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Shura Island Marina provides direct access to Shura Island, part of The Red Sea destination.

Network follows established marine industry standards

Yachting Network’s operating standards incorporate the Saudi Red Sea Authority Code and environmental practices led by Corallium, AMAALA’s marine life institute. Red Sea Global holds membership with the International Council of Marine Industries Association, the Leisure Marine Association and The Yacht Harbour Association.
