Scenic elevates luxury cruising with expanded 2028/29 inclusions

Scenic has unveiled its 2028/29 Worldwide Discovery Yachts Collection, introducing new ultra-luxury inclusions designed to take its all-inclusive cruising experience to new heights.

The new program spans more than 100 countries across all seven continents aboard Scenic Eclipse, Scenic Eclipse II and the upcoming Scenic Ikon, which is scheduled to join the fleet in 2028.

Helicopter flightseeing now included

For the first time, eligible Super Earlybird bookings will include a complimentary helicopter flightseeing experience on selected voyages departing between April 2027 and April 2029.

Guests will enjoy a 20-minute helicopter flight over selected destinations, while Antarctic voyages will include an extended 30-minute aerial experience.

Scenic Group Director of Discovery Operations Jason Flesher said the addition reflects growing demand for immersive experiences that offer a different perspective on destinations.

“We know from guests’ feedback that a helicopter flightseeing experience can reframe a journey,” Flesher said.

“By including helicopter flightseeing experiences, we are quite literally elevating ultra-luxury discovery, giving guests perspectives that few travellers will ever experience.”

Enhanced suite benefits unveiled

Scenic has also expanded inclusions for guests staying in its premium suite categories across Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Ikon.

New benefits include private jet transfers between Buenos Aires and Ushuaia on Antarctic Peninsula voyages, private chauffeur airport transfers and a range of exclusive shore experiences.

Owner’s Penthouse and Ikon Penthouse guests will gain access to helicopter landing excursions in selected destinations, including Antarctica, Patagonia, Europe and the Mediterranean.

Experiences may include visits to Emperor penguin colonies on Snow Hill Island, the McMurdo Dry Valleys in East Antarctica, celebrated vineyards, renowned restaurants and world-class golf courses.

Exclusive experiences on land and sea

Guests travelling in eligible suite categories will also enjoy private half-day guided excursions on Signature Yacht Cruises in Europe, the Americas and New Zealand, alongside exclusive Discovery Team-led experiences on expedition voyages.

Scenic said the enhanced inclusions are designed to deliver a more personalised and immersive travel experience while reinforcing its position in the ultra-luxury cruise market.

Scenic Ikon introduces Chairman’s Lounge

The collection also offers a first look at Scenic Ikon’s new Chairman’s Lounge, an exclusive retreat available to Ikon Penthouse guests and Chairman’s Club members.

The private venue will feature its own bar and access to menus from across the ship’s dining venues, creating a dedicated luxury space for top-tier guests.

With the launch of Scenic Ikon and an expanded suite of exclusive inclusions, Scenic continues to strengthen its position in the growing ultra-luxury expedition and discovery yacht sector.
