Seabourn has announced the first lineup of speakers from The Atlantic joining select fall 2026 voyages aboard Seabourn Ovation, as part of the luxury line’s three-year partnership with the publication under its Seabourn Conversations program.
Speakers span journalism, culture and media
David Frum, staff writer at The Atlantic and host of The David Frum Show podcast, and Evan Smith, the magazine’s managing director of events, will join the eight-day Southern Caribbean Gems voyage running 20 to 28 November 2026. Megan Garber, staff writer and author, and Yvonne Rolzhausen, managing editor and head of fact-checking, will join the 13-day Atlantic Coast: Lighthouses & New England Charms voyage running 31 October to 13 November 2026.
Kacy Cole, Seabourn’s chief marketing officer, said the partnership reflects a shared focus on intellectual curiosity. “By bringing some of today’s most compelling voices aboard, we’re creating conversations that spark new ideas, broaden perspectives and make meaningful discovery an even more defining part of the Seabourn experience,” Cole said.
Partnership builds toward 2028 exclusive voyage
Additional programming from The Atlantic will be announced for 2027, with the partnership culminating in a 12-day “With The Atlantic: A Seabourn Conversations Exclusive” voyage aboard Seabourn Quest, departing 4 October 2028 during Seabourn’s 40th anniversary year, featuring editorial programming developed with The Atlantic and inspired by The Atlantic Festival.
The partnership also includes curated onboard libraries featuring recent issues of the magazine and books by current and historical Atlantic writers across the Seabourn fleet, along with digital content access for guests on select voyages.
