Azamara Cruises has launched a new training chapter within Azamara World Academy (AWA), designed to help travel advisors build confidence using its RezA reservation platform.
New self-paced training
The new module, titled “RezA – The Power Behind Confident Booking”, is now available to registered travel partners globally. It provides step-by-step training on searching sailings, understanding fare types, creating and managing bookings, processing payments, handling group reservations, managing guest profiles and booking special services.
Focus on revenue opportunities
The training also highlights how advisors can increase booking value by adding pre- and post-cruise hotels, transfers, land packages, specialty dining, beverage packages, internet, spa treatments and shore excursions through the RezA platform.
Supporting advisor success
Azamara says RezA, which launched in late 2024, recognises advisors at the booking level, providing clearer performance tracking, fewer processing errors and ensuring returning guests are linked back to their original advisor.
Azamara Cruises Chief Executive Officer Dondra Ritzenthaler said the new training reflected the cruise line’s ongoing commitment to supporting the trade.
“Travel advisors have always been an essential part of Azamara’s success, and investing in their growth remains one of our highest priorities,” Ritzenthaler said.
