Azamara Cruises has launched a global consumer and trade competition inviting travellers and advisors to help name a new suite category aboard Azamara Quest, as part of the line’s broader Azamara Forward refurbishment program.
The initiative, titled “A Suite Story”, offers a trade-friendly engagement opportunity while reinforcing the brand’s focus on destination-led storytelling.
Trade and consumer engagement through storytelling

Open to guests, crew, travel advisors and employees, the competition invites participants to submit a city name from an Azamara itinerary, alongside a personal story and supporting photo.
Selected entries will help inspire the naming of 12 new suites on the ship’s upcoming Penthouse Deck, due to debut following refurbishment works later this year.
Azamara chief executive Dondra Ritzenthaler said the campaign aligns with the brand’s destination-first positioning.
“Azamara has always been about the destinations we visit and the connections our guests make along the way,” she said.
“With A Suite Story, we’re inviting our community to share the places and experiences that stayed with them long after their sailings.”
Incentive-led campaign supports Azamara Forward relaunch
The competition also includes a trade-relevant incentive, with one grand prize winner receiving a place on a one-night preview sailing from Miami on 17 December 2026, following the completion of Azamara Quest’s refurbishment.
The campaign forms part of Azamara Forward, a fleet-wide initiative focused on upgrading onboard spaces and enhancing the guest experience.
For agents, the activation provides a soft-touch engagement tool to reconnect past guests and generate interest ahead of the ship’s relaunch.
Timeline and booking implications
Submissions opened on 23 March 2026 and close on 19 April, with final suite names and the competition winner to be announced on 8 May.
While primarily a brand engagement campaign, the initiative supports forward sales by highlighting product enhancements and reinforcing Azamara’s destination immersion positioning.
For the trade, it presents an opportunity to leverage client stories and loyalty in driving engagement with repeat cruisers.
