Bhaya Cruises launches wellness and cultural voyages for autumn

Bhaya Cruises is expanding its onboard experiences in Ha Long Bay with a new season of wellness and cultural programs designed to immerse guests in Vietnam’s traditions and natural beauty.

Building on the success of its inaugural wellness series, the cruise line is introducing the next chapter of its Soul Sanctuary program aboard Bhaya Soul, while launching a new Heritage Journey experience on The Au Co. The announcement follows Bhaya Soul’s inclusion in TIME magazine’s World’s Greatest Places 2026 list.

Wellness experiences return

The Soul Sanctuary program has been created to encourage relaxation and mindfulness while cruising through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed waters of Ha Long Bay.

Guests can take part in complimentary Herbal Eye Sachets workshops during August and September, followed by Healing Sound Bath experiences in October and Yoga and Breathwork sessions in November. The activities are designed to help travellers reconnect with themselves while surrounded by the bay’s dramatic limestone landscapes.

Bhaya Cruises CEO Mr Nam said the popularity of the original program highlighted growing demand for meaningful travel experiences.

“The enthusiastic response to our inaugural Soul Sanctuary series confirmed that today’s travellers are looking for experiences that nurture both wellbeing and meaningful connection,” he said.

Celebrating Vietnam’s heritage

Alongside its wellness offering, The Au Co will debut The Heritage Journey, showcasing Vietnam’s artistic and culinary traditions through a series of complimentary onboard workshops.

Guests will be able to decorate traditional nón lá (conical hats), paint handcrafted bamboo masks inspired by Vietnamese folk art and learn to make bánh trôi, one of the country’s best-loved traditional sweet dishes.

The seasonal experiences will operate between August and November, offering travellers a choice of wellness-focused or culturally immersive activities while exploring Ha Long Bay.
