Oceania Cruises will introduce dedicated enrichment speakers on every sailing across its fleet from 2027, alongside expanded special interest programming, cultural learning and wellness activities, as part of a broader upgrade to its onboard experience.
Every sailing gains dedicated heritage or culture speaker
Each cruise will feature an enrichment speaker specialising in heritage, culture or history, delivering presentations that tie into the destinations visited on each itinerary. Voyages of 12 days or longer will add a second special interest speaker covering topics such as astronomy, sports, artificial intelligence, technology, health and longevity.
Jason Montague, Oceania Cruises’ chief luxury officer, said the expansion responds to changing guest expectations. “Today’s luxury traveler is seeking more meaningful ways to engage with the world around them,” Montague said. “By expanding our speaker program and introducing additional opportunities for cultural exploration, wellness and special-interest learning, we are creating even more ways for guests to personalize their luxury experience and make the most of their time at sea.”
Longer voyages add specialist activities and workshops
Voyages with three or more sea days will offer specialist-led sessions, including American Mah Jongg classes or bridge instruction led by American Contract Bridge League-accredited master instructors. Sailings with six or more sea days will add creative workshops led by Crafting Arts Ambassadors, alongside BeMoved, an inclusive dance program designed to encourage movement and wellbeing.
